Itinerary:
Day 1:
Firstly, when you land at Or Tambo you will have a meet and greet. We will then set off to pick up the vehicles and make our way up north to Al Thandiwe game ranch. You will then be attending a day of orientation before the trip. You will go through a brief vehicle and 4×4 introduction course with our professional guide. After orientation relax at our beautiful Cliff Chat Lodge and taste some some of Chef Frikkie’s delicious meals.
Day 2:
Wake up at 4 and head off early (5am) the next day to Kruger National Park. You will be accompanied by a professional guide, our chef and a camp’s assistant. Enjoy the trip with peace of mind while being escorted by professionals. Basic refreshments will be provided in the cars. Enter Kruger National Park through the Phalaborwa gate and head to Letaba for breakfast. After breakfast take a scenic drive through to Olifants. Spend the day exploring the area. Your guide will lead you in a morning drive. to some of our secrets spots. Come back at 1’oclock for the already prepared lunch. After lunch you will have a free afternoon to explore how you want. Relax at the camps swimming pool, go off on another game drive or rest at Olifants camp.
What to lookout for at Olifants: Wild dogs, Olifants, Rhino.
Day 3:
Wake up at 5 to head to Satara Camp and go on game drives in the Satara area. The Satara area is well-known for Big Cat Predator drive. Come back at 1’oclock for the already prepared lunch. After lunch you will have a free afternoon to explore how you want. Relax at the camps swimming pool, go off on another game drive or rest at camp.
What to lookout for at Satara: Leopard, cheetah, lions, rhino.
Day 4:
Enjoy another day at Satara Camp, exploring the renowned big game routes and immersing yourself in viewing wildlife. Return to camp for a relaxing lunch, where you can savor a delicious meal. As the day winds down, look forward to a pre-prepared dinner waiting for you at camp, perfect for unwinding and reflecting on your day’s adventures.
Day 5:
Depart early for Lower Sabie and spend the day enjoying scenic riverbed drives through the area, taking in the beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife. Come back at 1’oclock for the already prepared lunch. After lunch you will have a free afternoon to explore how you want. Relax at the camps swimming pool, go off on another game drive or rest at camp.
What to lookout for at Lower Sabi: Hippo, Crocodile, Elephants, Leopard and rhino.
